I'm looking for 2 lifting clevis pins or a good lead on where to look locally. I called a few fastener shops and auto shops. Some have some but no big enough in stock or they'd have to order them. I know where and how to order them online myself. I was just hoping to find some local 1st

Bretto - From all the outstanding metal work I've seen from you I'm surprised you don't have metal lathe and make your own from a couple of bolts. I hope you don't mind that I've copied your headlight guards. You do some nice work.

I took your idea and made some out of some 3/4 bolts. I had to manually do all the work. Man do I need some real tools!
Thanks for the idea.
Very Happy

They look very nice. I used the same method when I replaced my rear crossmember. From the outside they look like rivets. Getting all the nuts and washers on the inside takes a little machine work.

I used farm implement pins Bretto. All you have to do is cut them off (both sides), round the edges a little and drill a hole.

Heres a link to what I did on my blog:

Great idea. Getting small stuff posted like this helps the grand project. I felt the same way, I only had to pay $3 a bolt. Got em, made em and installed the same day.
