I just had the oil pressure gauge replaced in my 1951 M38. It had an non-original oil fed pressure gauge, and I switched it back to electronic (repro). It works perfectly, but the gauge fogs up when I drive the jeep. The other gauges are fine. Any thoughts?
Fogging of the lens inside the gauge is a result of poor sealing of the gauge case. Common issue with poorly made repops. Only cure would be replacement or attempt to dry it out and seal the case. _________________ Wes K

Thanks Wes.. That makes perfect sense. I took it back off, and attempted to seal it with J-Lar tape, but it continued to fog up. I'll just switch it out for an NOS gauge.
