|
|
Hey Guys.
Up for sale is a USMC rear bumper off of an M38A1. It's in decent shape but by no means new. It's not the straightest (it has a slight curve) and could use some welding (a few spots). If you're good at welding and can get it on your bumper, which shouldn't be hard because it wasn't hard to get off, this would be a good cheaper than new way to get your USMC M38A1 to have the right bumper. I'll attach pictures later on tonight as I can't do it right away. If you're interested, send me a PM or respond to this. First I'll take it, get's it. Shipping may be a problem and I'm hoping someone local can use it, as it is a heavy item.
Price: New is 125 from suplus city. I'll take $75. If you want me to ship it, I'll probably use USPS or whichever delivery method you'd prefer, but I'd like to get a shipping quote to your zip code so we both know exactly how much it would cost to ship. _________________ Dave

Sounds more like you might be talking about the rear frame cross member? M38-A1's and M38's have the same 2 bumperettes that bolt to it .

It goes over the rear cross member. It's just a USMC add on. If you were a marine and wanted to do a Marine Jeep, this is your chance to get the bumper. I'll get a picture of mine up here tomorrow.

I've uploaded pics of the bumper to my album.
http://www.willysmjeeps.com/v2/modules.php?set_albumName=album135&op=modload&name=gallery&file=index&include=view_album.php
I have also taken pictures of other things I'm selling as well. I have 4 fuel pumps, 3 carbs, a rocker arm cover, and water temp housing (I think). I'm not sure if the fuel pumps and carbs will work on the A1. I was told they would, but I'm not sure. My engine is already off getting worked on and has what it needs. If you guys know if these will work on the M38 or A1, please let me know and I'll then put a basic core value on these. Thanks. _________________ Dave

I guess I learned something new and stand corrected.
Thanks. _________________ Brett

Anytime Bretto! I know I learn stuff all the time on this website (carbs and fuel pumps above for example).
With them being civy and all core's, I'm guessing $25 each if anyone is interested? I'm guessing that's a fair price for a core? _________________ Dave
