I already have an oil drip from my bell housing after only running the engine a short time. Engine oil. I hope it clears up after the break in. _________________ Tropical Veteran

Ken,
My A1 has a little drip. I plan to try to fix it when the weather is bad for a while or during the cold season. It's not bad, its just there.
I wouldnt sweat it too much unless it was pouring out. _________________ Bob Collins

I just recently got all the that stuff mounted and put together. all except the engine which has been rebuilt since 2003. I really don't expect an oil leak to repair itself. I suppose the best time to find out where it it coming from is now while I still have the tub off. And I was slowly making some progress. _________________ Tropical Veteran

Ken,
Sorry to hear about the leak.
But like you said, better now than when you have the tub on. _________________ Ryan Miller

I went an picked my engine up today. The cause of the oil leak was that the rear seal had turned some, How, they didn't know. I talked to the man that recalls doing the engine the first time. He figures maybe he didn't put enough lubricant on it. Or, it (the engine) set up too long before I started it. I don't quite buy that respose since many engines sit up after manufacture before being used. Anyway I wasn't charged for the work. Hopfully I will get it running again soon. _________________ Tropical Veteran
