I just wanted to say a couple of positive things about Midwest Military regarding brake stuff.
I called John a while back and told him I needed to just replace everything, and wanted to start with the hydraulics.
He provided a master cylinder, four wheel cylinders, and all the hydraulic as well as flexible lines, and clips.
I have been removing, cleaning, and preparing the jeep for replacement of the inoperative and rusted mess I had.
I did purchase brake shoes from NAPA, and installed them on the rears. The fronts are a disaster as related on another post due to all of the grease.
Today I began re-installing the rear lines and hoped to get the master installed, but ran out of daylight. I just started too late.
The new lines went in easier than what came out, and virtually fell into place. I had to tug a bit here and there to get the long line to the master around all of the appliances, but the bottom line is they all fit like they belonged, and made installation about a ten minute job.
I know some folks have the ability and time to make their own lines, but if you buy them from John you won't be disappointed.
Thanks to John and Midwest Military for not only great products, but fantastic service as well. He is always willing to provide any information you need, once he understands what you are after.
