Just out of curiosity.....are the hole patterns the same on the two retainers......any possibility they could be interchangeable? _________________ Jim

Might want to verify the bolt lengths that attach it and the backing plate to the case......it looks like the one for the rear-axle parking brake is machined down a bit while the other retainer is not.....unless its just an optic dillusion in the pics. I don't remember when I rebuilt my xfer case if the mounting holes are open all the way into the case or if they are stop short of penetrating into the case. Just looks like one of those places where caution is warranted. _________________ Jim

I would be interested to know if they interchange as I have a trans/transfer case I want to put in but doesn't have the anchor point for e-brake. My current case is broken where the rubber mount goes. _________________ 1952 M38 project
