Another topic has prompted my question did M38A1s have extendable tubes within their fuel tanks which had the cone filter incorporated into them?

Mine when I got it had the remnant of the filter (too far gone to restore) and no extendable fill tube?

Any help would be appreciated.

Regards

Nic
