Does anyone know if the two fording valves used on the early M38A1 engine are both the same? My parts manual shows them in the illustrations but doesn't have them in the parts list! Picture of the upper valve here at Peter deBella's Jeep parts http://www.debellajeepparts.com/m38premier.htm.

I'm missing all of the fuel pump and related lines on the side of my engine since someone put in an electric FP. If anyone has any of the bits and pieces that you're willing to part with, please send me a message.

Yes. 7410836.
2 each per ORD 9 SNL-G-758 September 1956.

Thanks. I actually just came here to answer my own question. Last night I found that the Engine and Clutch manual does say that they're the same. But FWIW my copy of the Ord 9 doesn't list the lower valve. IIRC it's a 1966 edition.

Download our 1956 ORD 9 SNL G-758 which is a much more complete parts list. The 1959 & 1966 editions of the small Operators Organizational IPL TM 9-2320-208-20P is worthless.
