My restoration is nearing completion and I'm looking at ignition switches. Down the road I may look at purchasing an original style ignition switch but for now want to use a suitable key switch. Anyone have one they have bought and worked well for them? If you have a part number even better. _________________ Aaron

Where the ignition switch normally goes. I'm guessing a universal switch will work but just looking for one that someone is using that I know will fit and work well. _________________ Aaron

If you do not have a priming pump to the left of the steering
column I'd put it there. That way sometime in the future you
can install the military switch where it's supposed to go and
keep the key switch if you want.
You won't have to move it, mess up your dash paint, and many
M38's had the priming pump disabled over time anyway.
