HI Guys,
I just noticed in the ORD that there are 7 pieces of anti-squeak used with the A1 gas tank!!!
Why are there so many pieces used? Don't you just need 2 strips under the tank and one under the strap? Was it used on the sides of the tank as well as under the tank? Is this shown in any of the Pubs?
Thanks,
Bob |

Hi B,
Yes, I did a search but only found posts regarding the M38. Maybe folks spell "anti-squeak" differently. I'll try again. And I did see the pic you linked to in the ORD, but didn't think it was showing the actual orientation of the strips. For some reason when I looked at the pic from your link it now looks like maybe it is.
So there's no anti-squeak used under the strap?
thanks,

Wes,
Thanks. I found it right where you said it was. For Brian, who I must say has disappointed both of us........this is what it says;
(2) Position the antisqueak (P) over the top of the tank, install
the mounting strap (Q) over the antisqueak, install a 5/16 x 7/8
lockwasher screw (K) through the hole in the strap at the
front and the rear of the tank, and screw into the floor pan
cover.
So c'mon Brian........let's get with the program down there in Texas! Pays atten.....I says pays attention son.....the man is trying to learning ya something.
thanks guys,
