Depends on weather you are wanting a driver or a reproduction M38.
The 2A frame will accommodate the M38 body. The front fenders have additional bracing to bolt to the frame. The left hand mounted emergency brake cable needs a fastening point on the tranny crossmember's left side.
Are you using 2A or M38 running gear? Are you using a 2A engine or an M38 engine? _________________ Wes K

The 2A running gear depends on year. Early had full floater rear end and the front axle had bolt on steering arms but this isn't important to making the M38 body fit.
The 2A engine mounts are straight across from each other. This means the 2A's engine front mounting plate has both ears facing aft. This makes it tough to install the M38 dual fuel/vac pump.
This amounts mostly to eyewash for a M38 look alike. Just depends on how much like an M38 you wish it to look. _________________ Wes K
