Wes my footman loops are positioned lower than the ones in your photo. The holes were filled in with lead before I did the restoration. So took the lead out and used the existing holes. So I took the measurements anyway from my M38 and this is what I came up with.
A. 1-15/16"
B. 25/32" very close to 3/4"
C. 13/16"
D. 1-11/16"
E. 1-5/16"
F. 2-3/8"
G. 1"
H. 5-1/2"
I. 8-1/2"
J. 5-1/2"
K. 4-7/8"
L. 1-1/4"
M. 3"
N. 1-5/8"

Anyone! I'm using the photo that Wes posted to ask for a measurement on the Bows. I need the measurement on the forward bow pipe. Measured from the end of the pipe to the center of the hole that the horizontal rod fits into.
Thanks
Ken

My NOS M-38 top bow measures 25-1/8" from the center of the pivot pin to the center of the horizontal rod hole. _________________ Bob W. Monticello, NY. 1952 CJ3A, 1952 M38, 1950 CJV-35/U |

Thank you Bob for the measurement. The repo bow I purchased didn't have any holes in it.
