The passenger side of my M38 was all bondoed and rusted out I replaced all the bad spots with new metal. So now I have bought the shovel blade bracket and the axe handle holder bracket but I do not know the exact location to put them. Can anybody give me the exact locations of the shovel head bracket and the axe handle holder holes? and also how is the shovel head strap attached ? with welds? rivets ? or bolts?

Thanks Bruce

NUT, PLAIN, HEXAGON, It, s-fin, S, cd or zn-pltd,5/16-l8NC-2
SCREW, MACH, fil-hd, S, cd or zn-pltd, 5/16-l8NC-2x3/4
WASHER, FLAT, hv-series, s/is in, S, cd or zn-pltd, 3/8 ID, 7/8 OD, 0.083 thk
WASHER, LOCK, med, S, cd or zn-pltd, 5/16 in

2 each of all...

The hardware is available at ACE...
