I have a 1954 M38A1 for sale. Bought it to restore but now heading to Afghanistan and won't be back for a year. Jeep is in very, very good mechanical condition. 19,000 miles on body; 9000 miles on engine rebuild ( rebuilt at 10000 by second owner - Air Force tech sgt). New 24 volt engine wiring harness, new brake lines ran to front and back. New Carburetor. New exhaust manifold gasket and manifold machined to true up. I have 2 sets of door frames and the top bows for it as well. Runs strong. Tow bar and hand crank winch already mounted. Gas can and spare tire (dated 1942 or 45). It also has Period Specific Warn Selectable Manual Hubs. Only 3 issues with the jeep. Little wrinkle in right front fender. Little crease in rear driver's quarter. (Both easily fixable.) Will need a 2nd gear syncronizer.
No rust through anywhere on the body. Original serial number plate still intact. Excellent for restoration. Asking $4200. Going thru training at Ft. Gordon right now. Please leave message and I'll call you back. Jeep located in Stockbridge, GA 20 minutes south of Atlanta. Thanks for looking, Bobby 404-735-7531

That works. It would be nice if you had plain standard photos then you could link them directly to the post so they would automatically be displayed here.
