I've lost my CD that Eric kindly sent me, it's been two years since i last looked at it and a lot of water (and two lap tops) have gone under the bridge since then.
Anyway, what is the name and part number of the brass threaded hose extension for the head by-pass that screws into the front of the head comes out the head for the elbow hose to attach to and then goes into the water pump.

I had two spares complete with elbow hoses curtesy of the Dutch army but I seem to have lost them in the last couple of years.
Thanks,
Dave.

Ok, found it,
Nipple Hose 1/4 inch pipe thread. Pt No. 7372808 on the water pump and I think it's the same part for the head.

However when I try and explain this part to my usual store they look blank, is there another name like Threaded Hose adaptor or something?

I would take a pattern along to the store but both mine are welded in and one has failed (the head one) so she's a non driver at the moment.
Thanks,
Dave.

Thanks Ryan,
I found the number in my books just after I posted the message. My problem was trying to explain at my local auto truck parts store what I wanted and at the time I wasn't sure of the thread.

It's worrying here how these little things seem to be vanishing from the stock shelves along with the guys that know what you're talking about!
Thanks,
Dave.

1/4" NPT threaded Pipe to hose nipple. The problem is that most generic ones are a wee bit too long and will not allow fitting of the very short 90 degree hose piece. The correct nipple is very short.
