Currently my M38A1 is using a mechanical oil pressure gage. I have a 60# sending unit and 60# gage. What tubing and fittings do I need to plumb this one to change back to the original set-up?
Thanks, Kendall
The ORD 9 SNL G-758 parts manual has all you need in it on pages 168, 169, 52 & 53. The manual is free for you to download at the top oif this page where you see the "Downloads" link just click on it and click on the manuals link. _________________ Wes K

Thanks Wes, I looked in ORD 9 SNL G-758, and I can find a part number 8328407 LINE, oil sending unit, assy. Is that a standard steel line with flared ends? Any idea of the length?
There is an elbow listed under section 0610- is that for the end of the sending unit? Is there a fitting required on the engine block?
Thanks for the help,
Kendall
Install the sender bracket on the right side of the head and the 90 degree nipple in the lower left side of the block. Now you should be able to fabricate the steel tube to fit. It was a copper plated steel tube. Check with Hal and see if he is making the line and selling it. he does most of the lines.
Bottom fitting is for sender. _________________ Wes K
