I'm reassembling my F-134 that I just got back from the machine shop. I goofed in that I had removed the throttle linkage support that goes under head bolt no. 8 before I took the engine to the shop and so when the head got torqued down by the shop the support was still at home in my pile of parts. My question is......is it okay just to remove bolt no. 8, place the support under it, and torque the bolt back down. Or do I need to loosen all the bolts and go through a complete re-torquing of the head? Just fyi....since the rebuild the engine has not been run so the head and block have not been up to operating temperature yet. Thanks for the replies.
Deal with that bolt only. Not a problem. Don't forget to do a complete re-torque after initial runup. _________________ Wes K
