I am using a drawbar casting and lunette from an MBT to convert my Bantam T3-C from ball hitch to pintle. My question: Is there a washer on both sides of the lunette spring, or just between the spring and castle nut?

My M100 has a flat washer between the casting and the spring, then a keyed washer between the spring and the nut. That's the way it was when I got it, and that's what is shown in the M100 manual. I'd guess the MBT setup would probably be the same. _________________ Support our troops, past and present.

Bantam T-3 Parts manual shows two large flat washers and one tongued washer for that application. The illustrations are not that great but it seems you get a plain flat at each end of the spring and the tongued washer between the rear plain washer and the nut. _________________ Wes K
