It's below freezing in Wilkes Barr, and it wouldn't start this morning. My friend has an old pickup too, and it also wouldn't start. I sprayed in quick starter fluid, which has made it instantly start right up in the past. This time the engine turned over, but I had to play with the gas pedal, and do the quick starter thing a good five times, just to get it to start up. Once started, it ran like normal. I made sure to charge the batteries before I left too, and the voltmeter was pretty low when I tried to start it this morning, although I didn't really look until I had already tried to start it several times. _________________ 1952 M38A1

I don't like to go when its cold either.
Gas doesn't atomize that great in real low temps, that's why you have the choke to force a richer mixture. When stuff warms up then the choke isn't needed. I wouldn't go haywire chasing it. Does you choke close all the way?
Go easy on the starter fluid, that stuff can be bad on engines. _________________ Brett
