Hi Everyone, can anyone tell me about the white stencil on the underside of the hood where the shovel head goes when stowed underhood? It reads: 24 ORD CO
26/6/53
CLASS BE2

The Del Date is 8/52 Inspected FPM with the cross cannon stamp, any info is appretiated Thanks

The "24th Ord Co" was a middle echelon maintenance facility that worked on the jeep and they did the work on 26-6-53. The "class BE2" describes the type maintenance or material used. These markings are quite common and often refer to antifreeze changes and major repairs.
