Looking for recommendations/sources for an affordable and accurate meter.
They're not available "off the shelf" for purchase within 50 miles of my location (who would use shelf space for a tool only .01% of todays population would ever use?) I used a feeler gage and timing lite on my truck and am
satisfied w/performance, just want to dial it in closer if possible.
I'd sure rather hold it in my hand before I plunk down the bucks but I know that's not always possible
I'm running a stock 24V system. These meters are set up for 12v and 6 or 8cyl eng. I read where it said to double 8 cyl readings for 4 cyl application but what would I expect using a 12V meter on a 12V sys??
Might there be a unit available out there more purpose built for our trucks?
And yes I do have the dwell adapter in my kit. _________________ keep 'em rollin'

Thanks Wes. Downloaded, printed, 3-hole punched for my downloads binder on the bench. Looks like interesting reading. _________________ keep 'em rollin'

Nice!! Can I borrow it?? (just kidding)
I see yours is #4910 788 8549 and the pg 3 download lists same #.
Both current auction offerings I see are #4910 00 788 8549, with the 2 extra 00 after 4910 and both are noted as 12V. I'm not interested in either
of the current offerings (too spendy) just researching.
It appears there is a 24 and 12v variant of the same basic tool. _________________ keep 'em rollin'
