The RT-67 and RT-68 look identical, aside from the frequency readout in the viewing window.
The frequencies in the -67 and not used very much and for all practical purposes, you won't hear anything ... |

| There really isn't much in that frequency range these days. Ham radio is 50-54MHz, but FM is not used much, and you would need to be close to whoever is transmitting. |

| As has been suggested, find a radio you want (try RT-66, RT-67, RT-68 cheap) for parts, gut the inside, install your CB radio and discreetly run the microphone and antenna out the back of the RT case. |

I don't know where I got this from, but it is helpful. I have it taped to the wall next to my Jeep. Also, page 60 and 61 of TM9-8014 have a lube chart.

There is a seller on ebay that has signal switch kit for under $30. I received it this week and it seems pretty heavy duty. Comes with a wiring diagram.
There is another seller with 24v flashers ... |
