How much does he charge to go through an engine to evaluate if a rebuild is even needed? I have a donor engine I bought that I want to use for my restoration but I'm not sure of its history.

I appologize, the top picture is of the marking on the rear driver side of the frame. Bottom picture is right in front of the engine mount.

Has anybody ever seen this kind of marking on the top of an M38A1 frame? It appears to be the name NOAH and it appears on two spots on the drivers side top, front and rear.

Does anybody have a good picture of the battery box spot welds that need to be drilled out in order to remove the unit for repair? I don't want to make more holes than necessary.
