You could also talk to George at AJP. He is a really nice guy, and does restorations as well as supplying parts. His shop is in Levittown (sp?), which is on the northern outskirts of Philadelphia. |

What about the idea of a helicoil? It is not visible, generally, and can be sized dow to the original. Of course, it is not the solution you were asking for, but it would work. . . |
