I have vacuum wipers on my M-38 and I believe the flat of the motor should be down but my manual handles are also down. They should be up I believe. Can the handles be switched?

Piece of cake-pull the front mount plate and carefully knock out the small pin from the arm to shaft, reverse the arm and re-assemble.

Thanks Rick, I found the pin but they are tight. I'll let them soak in WD40 and see if they will come loose.

support the shaft really well and lightly tap the pin with the appropriate size punch. mine slid right out.

I tried to remove the ones on my original motors, but they wouldn't budge. I didn't even try on my replacement (m151) motors - I just mounted them upside down. I guess when I run out of stuff to work on I'll go back and start working on stuff like that.
