| I have vacuum wipers on my M-38 and I believe the flat of the motor should be down but my manual handles are also down. They should be up I believe. Can the handles be switched? |

Piece of cake-pull the front mount plate and carefully knock out the small pin from the arm to shaft, reverse the arm and re-assemble.

| Thanks Rick, I found the pin but they are tight. I'll let them soak in WD40 and see if they will come loose. |

support the shaft really well and lightly tap the pin with the appropriate size punch. mine slid right out.

I tried to remove the ones on my original motors, but they wouldn't budge. I didn't even try on my replacement (m151) motors - I just mounted them upside down. I guess when I run out of stuff to work on I'll go back and start working on stuff like that.
