There is a seller on ebay that has signal switch kit for under $30. I received it this week and it seems pretty heavy duty. Comes with a wiring diagram.

There is another seller with 24v flashers and he also includes a socket, 24v bulb, and bracket to mount. That was around $12.

I am in the process of wiring all this stuff up...

http://www.amazon.com/Grote-48272-Turn-Signal-Switch/dp/B000NDMAX4

Amazon has Grote & harness for USD54.66 free delivery in the States

This is the same unit used on lots of semi's & I really go for the hazard feature plus like the way it goes to the edge of the steering wheel.
I removed the moulded handle & replaced with a slimmer piece of plasic pipe with end plug.
Looked neater & painted OD looks the part.

Wiring diagram is included in the kit & is a very simple 5 wire connect from the Grote harness
1. live with fuse in line to the can
2. pilot from centre of the can to Grote harness
3. hot from can to the Grote harness
4. left & right connected to the Grote harness
5. Grote harness connected to earth [ground].

6, 12 or 24 v by replacing the tell tale lamp with correct voltage.
