Skyjeep's photo above shows the large rectangular splice block on US built A1's.
The three smaller splices below in your photos are not they way they are spliced on US built harnesses. Since Nekafs do not appear until about 1957 perhaps it is a trait of the later 1960's US built units which used a Packard connector harness.
