would i be correct or not to say the mb had red reflectors on the sides and in the rear, and the m38 had red rear and amber side reflectors??

Hi Bob,
Might check your G740 parts list but normal automobile and truck
use is amber to the front of a vehicle and red at the rear.
Truck trailers may have a row of Amber lights or reflectors but
the last one at the rear on the side is usually red. Dictated by
state MV's and probably the DOT.

Hence the M38 uses four red reflectors.

There's 5. Four on the rear corners and one in the middle of the spare. Red or ruby as worded in the ORD-9.
