I am looking for a M38A1 1953 - 1957 restore project that I can work on with my 15 year old son. The closer to Round Rock Tx the better. The goal is to rebuild a M38A1 to a weekend driver - keeping it as close to stock as possible. A running engine or at least a non-seized f 134 hurricane motor - 5k or less. |

Thanks for the quick reponse 4x4M38. I have been checking Craigslist, I am guessing it is all about timing/patience waiting for the right deal. I posted on this site hoping that someone just might have one sitting around waiting for the right time to sell. Once again, thanks, this is a great site with a wealth of knowledge.

I have personally seen several up at Midwest Military. John even has a couple that have had the hard word already done. Down mostly to cosmetics nicknacks paint and such. Great guy to deal with also. What he says is and wont mislead you.
I have bought everything from a WC63 to a Cletrac from him. |
