I just bought an M38 (Year unknown but early). I only bought it for a specific part (Overdrive). It has a civilian flathead and T-90 with transfer case in the bed. The frame with axles looks pretty good and there are misc. parts attached. The body on a scale of 1-10 would be a 2 or 3.

I do not have room for it and I am done with it. Who ever shows up in NW Houston with a trailer and $400.00 can haul it off. It does roll. I can not help load it and I am available 9-4 weekdays and weekends by appointment.

If you email me (cl6412@aol.com) I can send some photos but I think I described it pretty close.

Charles

Does the transfer case have the military bearing cap that has the threaded shaft rather than a set screw? If it has the GI bearing cap I would swap a commercial one for it.

The block, head, transmission and transfer case are civilian parts.

I forgot to mention there is no Title, Data plates or any Vin number.

It also has a CJ2 windshield/frame.
The Jeep is listed on Craigslist (Houston)
