Can you ID it from the parts list drawing? If you can which index number is it?

Scott,
Do you have the Ord 9 downloaded on your computer?

Sometimes enlarging pages there helps, sometimes not.

The photo I posted was the middle size one from my album.

My album is the 2nd photo album in "Members Albums" and I have close to a thousand technical photos indexed by make / model and or topic / system.

By going to my album, http://www.willysmjeeps.com/v2/modules.php?set_albumName=Wes-Knettle&op=modload&name=gallery&file=index&include=view_album.php and finding the photo I posted you can then open and/or download the largest version of it. I don't post the largest version in board replies because it eats up way to much bandwidth and makes the viewing of the Board's post much more difficult. In this case the largest version of my posted photo is:
http://willysmjeeps.com/v2/modules/gallery/albums/album115/IPL_Pg_62.jpg

The intake check valve is the slotted & threaded jet with a ball inside of it.

the check valve turned out to be the old one.....however, still have to pull out the choke a ways to keep it running.....checked, and double checked everything again, but see nothing incorrect.....i have built a few over all these years on 4or 5 A1's withought any problems......this one just does not want to participate....lol ~ Swampy~

Sounds like extra air getting in there from somewhere.
Or not enough fuel.

Can we assume you have checked fuel pump pressure and flow rate?

Can we assume you have done a propane vacuum leak check?
