The three major suppliers (I know) Midwest, ArmyJeepParts and Walcks4wd are all out and had trouble with a bunch pre-snapping during torqueing. Anyone know of where "good ones" can be found?? Thx!

Sure; I use Dodge Studs; they are the same thread and come in long lengths too. Check a Dodge flathead parts dealer like Vintage Power Wagons and Midwest Mil.

These are the choices from Vintage Power Wagons:

here's the original Willys illustrations:

Short stud

Long Stud

VPW's & MWM's offerings

You should make your decision on substitutions based on the shown original Willys dimensions.

The drawings above show both ends threaded
7/16-20, but one end is labeled NC and the other
end NF.

7/16” National Fine threads are 20 threads per inch
whereas 7-16” National Coarse are 14 threads per inch.

The drawings above need to be corrected.

Also, 3 of the long studs are required to install the
power plant lift bracket, not 2.

Take care,

My bad. The typo was on the drawing and it is corrected. Shocked

The requirement for only 2 long studs is on John's Dodge 230 six ad. I think we all know the jeep 134's use three.
