I have a box of 6 early light switches in various stages of repair.
one has a good gear, one has a small chip in the gear, one loose gear may be able to epoxy together, one is unopened and appears to work...others are for parts....28 dollars plus shipping for the lot (19 lbs.)
pm for pictures

Ken, I'll take them please. Sending PM.

If the fabrication thing works out, you'll see them back on the market for a fair price.

I would suggest care in selecting the rotor you wish to fabricate.

The early Bendix-Scintilla 2 plug light switch PN 10-34880 lists 10-34884 rotor

Then there is a slightly newer Bendix-Scintilla 2 plug light switch PN 10-34880-1 lists 10-35236 rotor.

Both of the above are listed under the same ORD# 7729684.

The later Bendix-Scintilla single plug light switch PN 10-76555-1 (ORD# 7355600) lists only rotor 10-77162

I opened a 10-34880-1 dual plug switch and it has a 10-77162 rotor in it.

It may just be possible that the 3 different rotors only differ in material used in their construction.

I would suggest locating a physical example of each of the 3 and decide which to fabricate.

I have a good set of photos of the 10-77162 rotor I removed from a single plug switch today.

Thanks Wes! Yes, will do.

Did you happen to notice if your 10-77162 rotor is marked or stamped with that or any identifying number?

My broken rotor only has what looks like a "3" marked on it.

Probably too lucky to assume that all three types (10-77162, 10-34884, and 10-35236) would be identical or at least interchangeable.

Assuming I can find a specimen of each to inspect.

Terrific, another variable........ Shocked

The 10-77162 is in the top left corner photo shot.

Check the full size copy in my photo album: http://willysmjeeps.com/v2/modules/gallery/albums/album190/Composite_Rotor_10_77162.jpg

I made some adjustments to my post with all the part numbers and large illustration composite.
