If that’s the upside down U that holds the fording hose
to the fender make one!

No. That info was photographed by me about 10-12 years ago while I still had the NOS kit. I decided against a fording kit installation on my M38 back then and sold the kit. Someone currently in possession may be able to offer those dimensions. It looks like it is probably 3/4" to 1" wide and 3/16" to 1/8" thick.
