I have rich mixture on a YF Carter Carb and my mixture adjust is all the way in. Does this sound like a misaligned float or what? Engine starts ok and runs, but quickly fouls the plugs.

Keep in mind that a rich mixture is either too much gas or not enough air. We all have a tendency to jump at "Too much gas" and ignore "Not enough air". Float setting will effect fuel quantity as will excessive fuel pump pressure. Air port restrictions will affect air volume.

Thx for the reply. Sorry for the delay, I've been out of pocket awhile. Definitely too much fuel, while working on it the carb has no air filter.
