Can someone steer me to a vendor that sells the rubber cushions that mount/support the bottom of the M38A1 Grille to the frame?

Thanks,

I made mine out of 1/2 - 3/4 inch rubber mat available from Tractor supply (Used in horse stalls) worked great...

Please understand this is huge so might need to find someone willing to sell a square foot block which is more than enough...

You can google Grille Mount Bushing and several vendors and pictures show up.
Here is one site for reference if you want to see what else you can find.

Harold,

I saw that set, but it was marked 67-71 Jeepster and I didn't know if it was the same thickness as my '53 A1.

Thanks,

Mike,

Note: the part # listed 683576 is exactly the same part number in your M38A1 parts manual! Check pages 104/105 Fig 05-1 and the parts list on pg 361 under sect 2101.

Listed on Jeepsterman site

Thanks Wes, I missed the part number on the Jeepsterman ad as being a Willys number, I just assumed that was their number.

That's exactly what I needed to know thanks again!
