Since yours do not have the spacer listed in ORD 9 there must be something significantly different about them. In that sense it would be very helpful if you would post detailed photos of what you have. _________________ Wes K

Pictures of the two mirror clamps that I have. The used one that was on my Jeep when I bought it is very similar to the short on on the right. I didn't take a picture of the used mirror clamp that was on my Jeep.

I guess the main difference is the lack of a spacer on both yours, but I'd like to see a couple more photos of yours if you would please, perhaps with measurements? Yours look to be narrower and longer than mine, and one has that large divot that looks to corral the bolt somewhat (in place of a spacer?). I can take some more photos and post measurements of mine as well.
Not sure we'll ever nail this down between the possibles --- M38, M38A1, M151, and maybe even CJ's. Too many variables, too much history gone by. This is a small thing, but I hate to see yet another post left flapping in the breeze with no answer in sight.
Perhaps a few other members will post what they've seen and have as well. Like Wes says, a photo is worth a thousand words. _________________ Ron D.
