here's my story...I lusted for an m38 and found one from an owner who had it for 29 years (stored inside) I bought it about a month ago and it was everything I wanted...great shape with VERY VERY little rust..to the best of my observations there was a passenger floor plan weld about the size of a square pizza pan, nothing major other than that, the jeep had the heater option sitting behind the front seats, still the 24 volt system etc. etc. It was going to be my farm jeep (we own 373 acres) however I keep looking at it and admiring it and just couldn't take it from its past occupation to become my farm jeep...it needs someone to polish it to its former glory instead...take it to parades, show it off at car shows or go crusing with it...sooooo I have decided to sell it and look for somthing that is more befitting farm duty...if your interested I can email you photos and the first $6800 will become the new owner of this really nice m38
This M38 is in great shape. It has the spare tire and gas can carriers, heater, shovel and ax with straps, older complete soft top with all bows, good tires, new windshield rubber seal, original 24 volt system. Just an overall great shape M38, runs good, no leaks. First $6800 takes it home.
