Hi I picked up a M100 Jeep trailer in sad shape last Oct and I've been working on it when I can.
There was no back or tailgate, so I welded in a CJ7 tailgate It has the Jeep letters on it.
The box was missing but a friend had a box close to the size. I mounted it
up to the brackets I don't know the real size If any one knows the size of the box please contact me. sevenslotgrills@aol.com anyways check out my
website for a look at what's been done and more updates coming.

Does anyone know this info
1 Size of the Box mounted on the front of the M100?
2 Size of the axle tube? I think it's 2"
3 measurement back of spindle to other back of spindle of the axle?.
4 Replacement shock Brand and part #?
That's it for now thanks

If you want to restore it to mil spec then lots of patience is needed...

Midwest Military carries a reproduction box for the front...

Jeep Panels Plus make replacement panels for it...

Hope this helps...

Thanks I've seen those boxes $85 + shipping. There are a lot of pieces
missing off this trailer.I picked up a box that looks like the right size and bolted it up. I was wondering how close I came to the right size?
Do you know the right size of the box?

I'm working on a New M100 axle I got a tube 48" and welded CJ spindles
on to it. I have the 6 bolt hubs to go with it. The axle that is under there is a homemade 2" tube with GM bolt pattern.

I'm having a hard time trying to find the right measurement of this axle
since I have nothing to go by I welded one CJ spindle to the axle tube
and mounted the hub. I wanted to do this right.

I just got in my NOS Camo Jeep trailer tarp from Surpuls Canada, Inc
If you are looking for one give Todd a call 1613-9373345 or Email him
easternjeepers@hotmail.com This tarp is heavy and will hold up well.
I installed 2 fiberglass bows and put the camo tarp on. I painted the box
Rusto Army Green. This is the color.
I have updated the website with NEW pictures.

I picked up a M100 1/4 TON CARGO Trailer Manul today at a Military
show in Lowell, Ma. I also picked up a receptacle cover trying to get
all the parts on the trailer to look the way it should.

I picked up some Krylon Camouflage 4293 Olive Non-Reflective
spary paint today. Dries in 15 minutes. I painted the front on the trailer
and the box. I had painted the box RustO Army Green but that did not look good. This paint looks much better.

I got my New M100 axle in and now I'm loking for some rims and tires.
I used Stage 8 locking jam nuts made for a Dana 44 but will work with
the 6 bolt hubs. They will never back off.

I painted a set of 6" Jeep rims Krylon Olive Green and picked up
a set of 6 bolt Hub caps from Brent Mullins Jeep parts out of TX.
It's starting to look much better.
