I want to make my 1953 M38A1 look like a jeep of the USAF Air Police, so what does the jeep need to be painted? Where can I find pictures of an Air Force M38A1? _________________ "Live Free or Die"

Starta Blue would be the correct color. I have the ppg paint code if you are interested. |

Rapco carries Gillespie USAF Strata Blue in cans and gallons... I have bought both from him...
Paint mixture is as follows:
2 parts paint
1 Part Thiner (I use Xylene, available at ACE)
Add hardener 1 oz for every 8 oz of paint/thinner mixture
This produces a hard glossy finish and dries nice over 24hours...
Hope this helps... |
