Has anyone found success with a certain product or method of getting rubber insulation back on the generator to regulator cable? The cable seems to be in great shape, but the black rubber material was shot.
Large heat shrink is the best choice. You can hunt it on the web or take your cable assy to your local industrial, residential electrician for a piece. They use those large sizes on underground splices. If you shop the net look for a size that will pass over your connectors while it is in it's raw state. _________________ Wes K

Heat shrink is a good choice as i've used that to repair a few myself, I "think" that the black plastic dip in the spray can may work well over several coats but that's on the to try list, I have used it to freshen up the back of several BOD bulb assy's with great success.
