I am in the process of rebuilding my M100 trailer and in doing so I had to buy new drain plugs, the rubber on the old ones was well worn out. During the course of my work, I was going thru the parts to sort cleaned from dirty (needing sandblasting) and I came across the old drain plugs.

My question is this, I am missing the draft pad springs and washers from my clutch and brake pedals, could the old springs from the drain plugs be used in this instance... The washers are no real problem, but I know the original draft pad springs are hard to find (acording to the rumor mill)...

Any thoughts on this... I figure it would be a good way to recycle the springs on the drain plugs versus throwing the out....

Thanks
