Anyone know the torque specs for the leaf spring pivot bolt and shackle bushing? Thanks - Bill

Thanks. I read an old posting that suggested torqueing the u-bolts under load. Make sense, what do you think?

Yes the Shackle "U" bolts are torqued with the vehicle weight on the springs so they are in their final operating position.

The axle housing to spring "U" bolts are torqued with the axle resting on the springs not with the weight of the jeep on the springs.
