Has anyone had experience with the Omix transmission cluster gear? Good, bad, or otherwise? After seeing the steering gear disaster, I'm gun-shy with those people. I want to check before i buy any product.

Call around to the usual guys and ask if they have NOS, seal tested, WOF, or old stock Willys stuff for transmissions. Novak makes new stuff. The deal is that you want good quality steel that's hardened correctly. The off shore stuff isn't up to standard. It wears fast and may not fit at all. Pay extra for good stuff now and not have to go back. My 2 cents. John
