I am recovering the military holes in my M38 tub that have been welded up by PO's.

For the large 3 bolt topbow brackets that fit on the quarterpanels, what is the diameter of the wing bolt clearance hole? Looks like it is about 1", but want to check if somebody can give me a original dimension.

Thanks, Jeff

Have you been thru my Photo album yet? 100's of technical photos there.

Take the two bolt hole centerlines and subtract the centerline of the clearance hole from the top bolt hole and subtract the centerline of the lower bolt hole from the clearance hole centerline you will see that the measurement is very close to 3/4".
