When I got my 1952 M38A1 It came with an extra YS carb. It looks like the one on the Jeep except the lower part of the carb is black. Has anyone seen this before? Would appreciate any info. Can text or email photo. Thanks, Mike

Sorry guys. Feel kind of stupid. Carb cleaner wouldn't take it off. Tried lacquer thinner and it comes off after a struggle. Must be some kind of epoxy paint or something.

I have seen NOS lower sections that were painted black.
