Does any know of a source for M38a1 Vacuum Wiper Motor Rebuild Kits?

Also what Trico Vacuum motor model # was used on the M38a1?

I did a search, but didn't find any info, but I bet it is somewhere in here.

Thanks

Wiperman. Buy his kit or send your wiper motor to him.

Did you look up your wiper motor in the ORD 9 SNL G-758? 9 times out of 10 when you want a part number from the manufacturer for your assembly it will be listed in the ORD 9 for that MV. If you do not yet have your copy of the ORD 9 SNL G-758 then go to our downloads page and download your copy. Study the directions in the front that explain how to use it and from that point on your will learn things you thought were obtainable no where!

There are also several other later parts manual for your M38A1 there as well. The ORD 9 is the most detailed manual. Then the -20P and the -34P also are helpfull for later info from the 1960's.

ORD 9 = http://www.willysmjeeps.com/v2/modules.php?name=Downloads&d_op=getit&lid=87

Page 370 holds the answer to your question.

-20P = http://www.willysmjeeps.com/v2/modules.php?name=Downloads&d_op=getit&lid=113

-34P = http://www.willysmjeeps.com/v2/modules.php?name=Downloads&d_op=getit&lid=112

In addition there are also ORD 7's and ORD 8's for your M38A1 These are limited parts manuals that cover mostly hi-volume parts and kits.

This illustrates the earlier M38A1 wiper motor used on both sides.

This illustrates the later M38A1 wiper motor usually found on the passenger side. These only had the hose hookup for suction since the vent side was no longer plumbed to the air cleaner when the M38A1 dropped the factory installation of the fording system plumbing at SN MD23359.

Wes,
It is my understanding that they no longer have the kits and cannot rebuild these motors any longer. If I have been misinformed, would love to know it.

I checked their web site yesterday and their site says "No kits available for outside sales" and that they still rebuild the motors in house.
