They address different levels in the maintenance programs IE using unit, base motor pool and depot maintenance. They also address different distribution info. The 7 & 8 are used at the unit & motor pool level. The 9 is the most complete collection of parts list and was used at all levels. The -34 was a depot level maint. manual and the -34P was a depot level parts manual.
If you lay all 3 ORD's cover pages on the table and read them this will become obvious. If you lay all 3 introduction pages on the table and read them they will tell you the purpose of each manual and whom it was meant to serve. _________________ Wes K
