Hi Guys,

Is there a bracket or clamp that attaches to the 2 top valve cover bolts that secures the plug wires to the cover? I was looking at engine pics online and although I couldn't find a close-up of said clamp(s) or bracket(s) it looks like some folks have one that groups the first 3 plug wires together and then there's a lone clamp at the far end of the valve cover that secures the plug wire for cyl 4 all by itself. I couldn't find any listing of these clamps in the ORD, nor was there a pic........unless I missed it.

Can anyone confirm there should be something that secures the plug wires to the valve cover.....anybody have a clear pic?

thanks,
bob

there are 4 spring clips. 3 go on the front valve cover bolt and one on the rear. G503 is advertising these clips in their new ad in Supply Line and Military Vehicle mag.

found this in the old 9 page 151:

odd it lists the 3 clips in the front but has the single one listed as a clamp and attached to the oil filter??

Hi Gary,

Thanks! I see it now in the ORD plain as day! AJP has them on sale so I ordered a set right after I posted, as both are missing on my engine.

Appreciate the help.

regards,
bob
