Hi Guys,

Found these on ePay. They're 4 feet long, you get 2 and they have the covering on them. I'm thinking if you need to replace the tank sender lead in your harness you can change the connector to Douglas and it's long enough to splice it anywhere in you want. And at 2 for $10 and shipping for a buck......it's hard to beat.

regards,
bob

I would be cautious when buying NOS that new. When stocks that new hit the surplus market early it is usually because of a defect.

Incidentally that is a side marker lamp lead for the 5 Ton M939 series truck.

TACOM NICP and DLA send lots of parts to DRMO for lots of reasons. Since these are 8 years old, it could be just an overstock situation. Or a latent defect was found. Or a new configuration was developed. Or they are shelf life items and are scrapped when that comes due. It would take research to know at this point. For the price, just buy one and test it.
Just bought them.

I got mine yesterday; they are fine. i suspect just disposed due to overstock. We can only keep so much in inventory if the demands do not support it; it costs money to keep items in depot storage that do not get enough demand. Metrics are briefed on excess inventory monthly.

Yeah, mine were pristine in the package too. Checked them electrically......no issues. Sure wish my A1 used Packard connectors.......I seem to fall over them everywhere and they're cheap. Components with Douglas connectors are getting scarce, the connectors are expensive and they're a $%#$^ to assemble the connection. My next MV is going to be Packard.........unless it's a tank.

Laughing

regards,
bob
